Difference between Alibaba and AliExpress

Alibaba is more wholesale-focused, and products listed there are generally sold in bulk. AliExpress is more geared towards the average customer, where items can be purchased one at a time, much like eBay or Amazon. Alibaba themselves describes the difference this way:

Alibaba.com is the leading platform for global wholesale trade serving millions of buyers and suppliers around the world. Most of the members on Alibaba.com are manufacturers, trading companies or resellers who trade in large order quantities.

AliExpress is a global retail marketplace offering quality products at factory prices in small quantity. Your order amount can be as low as 1 item and you can pay safely using Buyer Protection service.

What happened to GetGlue?

GetGlue started in June 2010, as a social network allowing users to "check in" to TV shows, movies and other media they are consuming via a website or mobile app. Most noticeably, users were able to earn stickers when checking in, and could redeem up to 20 of them each month to be mailed to them at no cost. In November 2013, GetGlue was acquired by I.TV and the ability to earn physical stickers was removed, limiting users to collecting only "digital stickers." In January 2014, GetGlue changed its name to TVTag and further features were removed from the website/app. These changes led to a lot of members abandoning the network. In December of that same year, TVTag announced that it was closing down, barely a year after it was acquired by I.TV.

TVTag has since been succeeded by Telfie, an app which operates similarly to the old version of GetGlue.

What is dkmhab.xyz?

dkmhab.xyz is an example referrer spam, which is also known as also known as referral spam, log spam or referrer bombing. According to Wikipedia, referrer spam "is a kind of spamdexing (spamming aimed at search engines). The technique involves making repeated web site requests using a fake referrer URL to the site the spammer wishes to advertise. Sites that publish their access logs, including referer statistics, will then inadvertently link back to the spammer's site. These links will be indexed by search engines as they crawl the access logs, improving the spammer's search engine ranking. Except for polluting their statistics, the technique does not harm the affected sites. At least since 2014, a new variation of this form of spam occurs on Google Analytics. Spammers send fake visits to Google Analytics, often without ever accessing the affected site. The technique is used to have the spammers' URLs appear in the site statistics, inducing the site owner to visit the spam URLs. Although popular in the whole country, porchetta originated in central Italy, with Ariccia (in the Province of Rome) being the town most closely associated with it. Elsewhere, it is considered a celebratory dish. Across Italy, porchetta is usually sold by pitchmen with their typically white-painted vans, especially during public displays or holidays, and it can be served in a panino. It's a common street food in Rome and Lazio served as a filling for pizza bianca. It is also eaten as a meat dish in many households or as part of a picnic."

Dove Cameron's real name

Actress Dove Olivia Cameron's real name is Chloe Celeste Hosterman. The young actress, best known for her role as both leads in the Disney sitcom Liv and Maddie, legally changed her name as a tribute to her father. Cameron stated on her Instagram, "I just wanted to take this time to explain my name I all of you lovelies, because I have seen that there is quite a bit of confusion. My birth name is Chloe. But my daddy called me Dove/Dovey as a nickname since I was very small; just over a year old. As some of you know, my father passed away a few years ago, right around the time I started acting. So, I decided to change it legally in honor of him, which gives me great joy every day that I was able to do something so lasting and permanent to pay homage to his memory. But I still go by Chloe to some family members and Ryan. And some Starbucks employees. So Dove is not a stage name, it's actually a name that means a lot to me for many reasons."

Is Traffic Monsoon a scam?

Yes, Traffic Monsoon is a scam according to trusted watchdogs like Ethan Vanderbuilt and PTC Central. Traffic Monsoon is run by infamous serial scammer Charles Scoville, who previously operated other scam sites such as Infinitybux.com, BuxSecure.com, TviPtc.com, Powerfulbux.com, Foreverbux.com, BuxUnleashed.com, Banrev.com, Ultimatepowerboost.com, Wealthenginex.com, and ULaunchFormula.com. These sites have all closed down without paying money owed to members.

Traffic Monsoon operates as a Ponzi scheme, though it's sometimes referred to as a pyramid scheme as well. According to Wikipedia, a Ponzi scheme is "a fraudulent investment operation where the operator, an individual or organization, pays returns to its investors from new capital paid to the operators by new investors, rather than from profit earned through legitimate sources". In Trafficmonsoon's case, the website pays members their earnings using money invested by other members, creating an unsustainable cycle.

Also of note is that Trafficmonsoon had their Paypal account locked due to their questionable business model. Additionally, Scoville has also stated that Trafficmonsoon will start its own bank in Dubai, though nothing amounted from this claim.

What is free-video-tool.com and keywords-monitoring-your-success.com?

free-video-tool.com and keywords-monitoring-your-success.com are common examples of referrer spam, which is also known as referral spam, log spam and referrer bombing. This happens when a spammer sends fake hits to a legitimate website using their own spam sites as the referring URL. The spam site then shows up in the site's statistics/analytics logs (such as Google Analytics or Statcounter) as a referring URL. If the statistics are public, this creates a backlink to the spammer's site, which improves the spammer's search engine ranking. The targeted website's owner may also be curious about the spam site constantly showing up as a referring URL and click it themselves, unaware that it's simply a spammer.

Why do Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic hate each other?

It's no secret that Castle co-stars Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic don't get along. Though they play the two lead characters on ABC's hit show, Katic and Fillion have had fewer scenes working together in recent seasons at their own request, and Katic isn't invited back for a possible ninth and final season. This is quite the departure from earlier seasons, when the two actors got along and were even rumored to be dating.

According to Dish Nation, the reason Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion grew apart was due to Stana's rising star, which caused Nathan to feel upstaged as he considered himself the star of the show. One insider said "As her popularity increased, she was given pay raises, and she even got a new dressing room equal to his. As time went on, Nathan became more and more distant, insisting that they only set foot on set together when it was absolutely necessary."

In one incident, Stana went on the set to "shadow" the director on her day off because she aspired to become a director and wanted to learn the ropes. Nathan was livid and demanded she leave. “It was Stana’s day off and she opted to come in just to follow the director around, but when Nathan found out her intentions, he put his foot down and insisted she go home.”

Why is Rowan Blanchard a feminist?

14-year-old "Girl Meets World" star Rowan Blanchard is one of the most outspoken young feminists in Hollywood and often posts about feminist issues on social media sites. In a discussion with Interview Magazine, she spoke about what sparked her passion for activism:

I remember I was at a movie with my friend, and we were both in skirts—this was two and a half or three years ago—we were waiting outside the movies for my dad to pick us up, and this grown man came over and was like, "You guys need a ride anywhere?" I was 12 years old and my friend was 15. And I just remember sitting there feeling my heart sink into my stomach. It was such a surreal moment. Because I always see that happening in front of me; I always see girls getting catcalled. But up until that point, I hadn't experienced it. And it was like I was out-of-body for a second. I had seen that in movies, on TV, on the news. But when it happens to you, it's like, "Oh, crap, this is real; people look at me this way. And people look at other girls this way." I went home that night and didn't tell anybody. I didn't tell my parents because I was ashamed that it was what I was wearing. I was like, "Gosh, I shouldn't wear a skirt next time. What am I doing?" My sister was 10 at the time, and I remember lying in bed and thinking, "I don't want that to ever happen to her." Then, once it happens to you, you see it everywhere. When you're watching your favorite TV show, you see a joke that maybe would have gone over your head a month ago. You can't escape it. There's really nothing you can do except endure it and try and speak out about it. So that's what I tried to do. Because it started consuming me. And, when girls would come up to me and be like, "I watch your show," I would think, "Has this ever happened to this girl? Of course it's happened to this girl, because it happens every day." And it just started overwhelming me. So I started putting things on Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram, because I realize that I have a following, and most of the people who watch our show, I would say, are girls. And I didn't want them ever going through that. I just started doing it because I couldn't bear it anymore.

Is Vector Marketing a scam?

Sort of.

Vector Marketing is the sales branch of Cutco, a cutlery manufacturer. Potential employees are recruited via ads and fliers on the internet and college campuses, but job descriptions are generally either deceptive or very vague. The actual job being offered is that of an sales representative who sells Cutco products (generally kitchen knives) to customers, which the employee would need to find on his/her own. Vector Marketing employees are considered independent contractors, and are not paid for training and other mandatory meetings nor reimbursed for common business expenses such as transportation. Previously, employees were also required to purchase the knives themselves in order to use them for demonstrations for potential customers, though this practice has been discontinued.

Vector Marketing employees are not given a salary and are instead paid by commission, starting at a lowly 10%, which can scale up to 30% if enough sales are made. Because employees are expected to find their own customers, it's possible to not earn any money. Losing money is also a possible scenario, since travel costs are not covered, and this was especially the case in the past when employees were required to purchase a set of knives for demos.

Vector Marketing has been sued numerous times for their deceptive business practices. They were sued in 1990 by the Arizona Attorney General, and were ordered to stop providing dishonest information to recruits. A similar order was also handed to them by the state of Wisconsin in 1994. In 2003, a recruit successfully sued them for failing to adhere to labor laws, and later formed Students Against Vector Exploitation (SAVE) to warn other college students about the company. Most recently, they settled a class action lawsuit for $13 million in 2008.

This Week in Baseball theme song

This Week in Baseball (abbreviated as TWiB) had two theme songs. The opening theme was "Jet Set", which was also used as the theme song for the original version of the game show Jackpot. When Fox brought TWiB back to television in 2000, a slightly different version of Jet Set was used as the opening theme. The closing theme, and the one fans most associated with the program, was "Gathering Crowds". Both themes were composed by Mike Vickers, a former member of the original Manfred Mann band, though he's credited under the pseudonym Patrick J. O'Hara Scott for Gathering Crowds.

What happened to The Spirit Squad?

According to Wikipedia, "The Spirit Squad was a professional wrestling stable that consisted of Kenny, Johnny, Mitch, Nicky, and Mikey. They are best known for their time in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). The team's ring personas were those of an all-male cheerleading squad." The five-man tag team debuted on WWE RAW on January 23, 2006 and disbanded on November 27 that same year.

After the breakup, Kenny (real name Kenneth George Doane) initially received the biggest push of the five, and was re-named Kenny Dykstra as a homage to the former baseball player Lenny Dykstra. Kenny was released from his WWE contract on November 10, 2008. During his solo run in WWE, he was noted for having an on-screen relationship with Victoria. Kenny wrestled on the independent circuit after his release, appearing in Dragon Gate USA, Wrestling Retribution Project and Chikara. During Chikara's 2014 King of Trios tournament, he once again wrestled under his Spirit Squad character alongside Johnny and Mikey.

Johnny (real name Johnny Jeter) was repackaged as Jayden Jeter and wrestled in dark matches and live events, as well as in WWE's developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling. He was released from his contract in late 2007, and retired from professional wrestling in 2008 to become an accountant. In 2014, Johnny, along with Kenny and Mikey, wrestled as the Spirit Squad in Chikara's King of Trios tournament.

Mitch (real name Nick Mitchell) was released from his contract on May 15, 2007, and began training for a career in mixed martial arts. He made his MMA debut on April 9, 2010, losing to Derek Lewis via technical knockout from punched in the second round.

Nicky (real name Nick Nemeth) was the most successful of the five members post-breakup. After returning to WWE's developmental territory OVW and later Florida Championship Wrestling, he re-debuted on RAW on September 15, 2008 as Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler, still wrestling in the WWE, has twice been the World Heavyweight Champion, won the Intercontinental Championship four times and also once held the United States Championship.

Mikey (real name Mike Brendli) returned to OVW as Mikey Mondo before being released from the WWE on June 13, 2008. He then spent some time wrestling for several small independent promotions before resigning with OVW. Mondo has also wrestled for Ring of Honor, and appeared in Chikara's 2014 King of Trios tournament as his Spirit Squad character with Kenny and Johnny.

Is Quick Cure shrimp-safe?

Quick Cure is a aquarium medication that can be used treat common aquarium parasites, including ick, protozoans, flukes, costia, chilodonella and trichodina. While it is safe for most freshwater and saltwater fish, it should not be used with invertebrates such as snails and shrimp because it's formulated from formalin and malachite green. Quick Cure can also discolor silicone in glass aquariums.

Who created Google?

Google was created in January 1996 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, who were PhD students at Stanford University at the time. Unlike conventional search engines during that time which ranked results by counting how many times the search terms appeared on the page, Brin and Page set out to create a new system that would rank pages based on the quality and quantity of backlinks it had. Their search engine was initially named "BackRub", in reference to this system. It was eventually changed to Google, a misspelling of googol, which is the number one followed by a hundred zeroes. The new name was in reference to their intention of providing large quantities of information. Google also initially ran on Stanford's servers (google.stanford.edu and z.stanford.edu) before the domain Google.com was registered on September 15, 1997.

What happened to the MLB Fan Cave?

The MLB Fan Cave was a building (formerly a Tower Records store) that served as a "social media hub" for MLB from 2011 to 2014. It was also a show that took place inside the building where a select group of fans would attempt to watch all 2,430 regular season games and play host to concerts, fan events, and celebrity guests while recording their experience via social media, blogs, and videos.

The Fan Cave varied a bit between its four seasons. In its debut season in 2011, it feature only two "cave dwellers", following their experiences in the Fan Cave. In 2012, it turned similar to a reality show competition, with 9 cave dwellers attempting to avoid elimination. While the cave dwellers competed in challenges and there was an online voting aspect, the actual scoring rules weren't apparent to viewers. The competition was eventually won by San Francisco Giants fan Ashley Chavez. The Fan Cave continued a similar model in 2013, but the next year it became a 30-minute variety show on MTV called "Off the Bat from the MLB Fan Cave" and featured Sway, Fat Joe, Chris Distefano and Melanie Iglesias as hosts.

After a four-year run, MLB announced the end of the Fan Cave in February 2015. This decision was explained by MLB's president of business and media Bob Bowman as a move to consolidate all of their social media activities. In a statement given to SportsBusiness Journal, Bowman explained "We’re trying to be more coordinated in all of our social media efforts. This change in structure is helping all of us focus on the same goals, and by putting all of the social media together, we hope to have a more consistent and effective message." It's also noted that Bowman was newly assigned to his position at the time of the decision, and it was his predecessor Tim Brosnan who left the company a month earlier that created the MLB Fan Cave.

Here were all the cast and contestants that took part of the MLB Fan Cave during its run:

Does 5-hour Energy really work?

5-hour Energy claims to contain 200mg of caffeine, which means for a boost of energy, it should work at least as well as a cup of coffee, which contains slightly less caffeine. There's little research that suggests the energy shot's other ingredients, which include niacin, vitamin B6, folic acid, vitamin b12, would provide a noticeable energy boost. 5-hour Energy's claims have also been the target of lawsuits from consumers, as well as attorney general offices from multiple states for deceptive advertising.

5-hour Energy has also been linked with serious health hazards, including at least 13 deaths. According to the report, 5-hour Energy " has been mentioned in some 90 filings with the F.D.A., including more than 30 that involved serious or life-threatening injuries like heart attacks, convulsions and, in one case, a spontaneous abortion" between 2009 and 2012. Additionally, "the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, reported late last year that more than 13,000 emergency room visits in 2009 were associated with energy drinks alone."

Which movie had the worst opening weekend?

The movie with a wide release (600+ theaters) that had the worst opening weekend was Proud American, which managed only $96,076. The movie, released by Slowhand Cinema on September 12, 2008, advertised itself as a film capturing the greatness of the American spirit, but was slammed by critics as a "corporate-sponsored, feature-length infomercial" and a "thinly disguised advertisement for corporate deregulation." The movie featured the founding of Wal-Mart and Coca-Cola, and was sponsored by MasterCard and American Airlines, who received product placement throughout the film. Proud American finished with a total gross of $131,357.

For wide releases of 2000+ theaters, the worst opening belonged to The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure. Despite a budget of $20 million, and another $40 spent on marketing, Oogieloves managed only $443,901 on its opening weekend (August 29, 2012) and a total gross of $1,065,907, making it a huge box office bomb.

What happened to MetConnect?

MetConnect was a free dial-up ISP located in New York City that operated during the 2000s. The service was run by MetTel, a telecom company. According to their website, "MetTel has been the preferred provider of communications services to nationwide, multi-location enterprises since 1996. Through extensive partnerships and wholesale relationships with the nation’s leading carriers, we offer businesses a simple, consolidated alternative to often complex, multi-vendor telecom set-ups. Our portfolio ranges from traditional voice services to MPLS networks, from Voice over IP technologies to cloud managed services and professional consulting services. All through a single point of contact for services, billing, repairs, and provisioning."

MetConnect was discontinued by MetTel in early 2012. By then, dial-up has already long been considered outdated technology, though it managed an impressive run as a free service.

What is a receiving associate?

A receiving associate is a job position where the worker generally works in the backroom, performing tasks such as unloading merchandise, moving items from the backroom to the sales floor and making sure the store is stocked properly. Receiving associate is a physical job, and being able to constantly lift and move boxes of a certain weight is usually mentioned in the job description. As it's not a position that requires much skill or formal education, receiving associates are low-paying jobs, but can be a good choice for people looking to break into the workforce who don't have much to offer. Clothing and department stores like Sears and Bloomingdale's are generally the type of businesses that hire receiving associates.

What is Genmaicha?

Genmaicha, which translates to "brown rice tea", is a tea of Japanese origin that combines green tea with roasted brown rice. Due to the rice popping from the roasting process, it is also sometimes known as "popcorn tea". Genmaicha was first created when rice was used as a filler to reduce the price of tea, and was originally consumed by the poor. It has also been known to be drunk for fasting purposes.

Due to the addition of rice, genmaicha has a stronger, nutty aroma compared to most teas. It's also noted for a shorter brewing time.

What happened to Pergament Home Centers?

Pergament Home Centers was a chain of home improvement stores in the New York tri-state area, with locations in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Pergament began losing ground to the expanding Home Depot in the 1990s, which led to the company focusing its business in New York City and closing other locations. This strategy was not enough as Pergament Home Centers would close completely in 2001 and its inventory was liquidated.

Despite closing its stores, Pergament owned the land its stores were located on, and therefore were able to rebrand itself as a real estate business. The company, Pergament Properties, still operates today and works in the acquisition, development and ownership of retail shopping centers and commercial properties in 5 states.

Where is Bigelow tea from?

Based in Fairfield, Connecticut, the Bigelow Tea Company was founded in 1945 by Ruth Campbell Bigelow and is still owned by her family. Bigelow's most famous tea blend, Constant Comment, also ties into the history and founding of the company - "Ruth Campbell Bigelow had been a designer by trade. In 1945, inspired by an early Colonial recipe and dissatisfied with the commodity tea that was commonplace in the 1940s, Ruth focused her creative energies on formulating a better cup of tea in the kitchen of her New York City brownstone. After weeks of trial and error, blending black tea with orange rind and sweet spices, she emerged with the first cup of specialty tea in the country. Ruth shared her tea with friends and received many comments—in fact, 'constant comments.' Her new brew got its name, and the Bigelow Tea Company was born."

Bigelow also owns the United States' only working tea plantation, the Charleston Tea Plantation on Wadmalaw Island, twenty miles south of Charleston, South Carolina. Bigelow's teas are still blended in Fairfield.

Difference between Native American flute and Native American style flute

Native American flutes and Native American style flutes are the same instrument. The name difference is due only to the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990, which prohibits non-Native Americans from marketing and selling arts and crafts products as Native American-made. Therefore, only Native Americans would be legally allowed to sell their flutes as "Native American flutes", while others generally sell them as "Native American style flute" to indicate that they're the same instrument, but not made by a Native.

Though the two names help indicate who made a flute, it should not be used to judge the quality and workmanship of the instrument. It is possible for a Native American to create a low quality flute, or a non-Native to create a quality one.

What is the minimum for free shipping on Amazon?

The current minimum order required for free shipping on Amazon is $49 for non-Prime customers. The free shipping minimum was originally $25, before Amazon raised it to $35 in 2013, and to $49 on February 22, 2016. Book orders are unaffected by this price hike, and require only $25 for free shipping.

The purpose for these free shipping price changes is likely due both to Amazon's desire to push Prime subscriptions - which offers free two-day shipping plus unlimited video streaming for a $99 a year - and their own shipping expenses - which grew 37 percent to $1.8 billion in 2015.

How many people are in Arcade Fire?

Canadian indie rock band has had many members over the years, so much that it's become a bit of a running joke. Currently, the band has six official members - husband and wife Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, Win's younger brother (and Regine's brother-in-law) Will Butler, Richard Reed Parry, Tim Kingsbury and Jeremy Gara. There are also three violinists familiar to long-time followers of the band - Sarah Neufeld, who was formerly a full-time member of the band, and Owen Pallett and Marika Anthony-Shaw, both of whom were never actual members of Arcade Fire, but had spent significant time as touring members. In addition to Neufeld, there are seven other musicians who were once members of the band - Howard Bilerman, Josh Deu, Alan Lavian, Myles Broscoe, Brendan Reed, Dane Mills and Tim Kyle. During Arcade Fire's last tour for their album, Reflektor, they employed six touring musicians - Diol Edmond, Tiwill Duprate, Stuart Bogie, Matt Bauder and the aforementioned Sarah Neufeld and Owen Pallett. Touring members of previous tours include Colin Stetson, Kelly Pratt, Pietro Amato and Mike Olsen.

What has more caffeine - coffee or tea?

Coffee has about twice the amount of caffeine as tea. According to the Bluebird Tea Company, a cup (12 oz) of coffee has about 210mg of caffeine, while the same amount of black tea would have about 120mg, and green tea 70mg. In the case of tea, it is also noted that the temperature and amount of time the tea was steeped in affects how much caffeine is leached into the water from the tea leaves.

What is Ariel Winter's bra size?

Ariel Winter's bra size was 32F before she decided to undergo breast reduction surgery at the age of 17, reducing it down to a 34D. The actress, best known for her work on ABC's Modern Family, opened up about the decision in an interview with Glamour magazine. "I went to a swimsuit store with my cousin a few months ago and couldn’t find a bathing suit that fit me. I really felt bad about myself. I didn’t feel happy. I just kept saying, 'What am I going to wear? There’s nothing for me to wear at the beach, at the pool.' I can’t go to a party with my friends and wear the same thing as them. I have to be completely covered up otherwise I’ll look a certain way that I’m not intending to look."

In the same interview, Winter discussed the physical pain caused by her size F breasts, which she's had since she was 15. "It was so painful. I had a lot of back problems. I really couldn’t stand up straight for a long period of time. It started to hurt so bad that I couldn’t take the pain. My neck was hurting so bad and I actually had some problems with my spine. I had been discussing my chest with doctors for many years, but when I finally said, 'I’m thinking of doing this,' he said, 'Your back is going to thank you so much.'"

What happened to HopStop?

Founded in 2005, HopStop was an online transit guide that offered users subway, bus, biking, taxi, train, and walking directions in real time. In addition to its website, it also had apps for Android, Apple and Windows devices. It was arguably the most popular digital transit guide in its heyday and was even named to Inc Magazine's top 100 fastest growing software companies in 2011.

HopStop was acquired by Apple in July 2013, who dropped support for Windows Phones days later, and then Android devices that September. These moves naturally removed a lot of HopStop's userbase. In October of 2015, Apple ended HopStop completely (both app and website) and instead used an iOS 9 update to supply Apple Maps with transit directions.

Where is Stash Tea from?

Stash Tea was founded in Portland, Oregon and is currently based in nearby Tigard, Oregon. It was founded by renowned teamaker Steven Smith, who later founded Tazo after Stash was sold to Japanese tea company Yamamotoyama. According to Stash, the company name comes from folklore - "The company derives its name from an entertaining aspect of tea folklore. In earlier centuries, tea was a valuable commodity traditionally transported by clipper ship. The ship’s captain often was presented with some of the finest teas for his personal use. This supply was his “stash,” stowed carefully as his “private reserve.” Today, the term is still used to denote anything put away carefully because of its preciousness."

What happened to HotBot?

Launched by Wired Magazine in 1996, HotBot was one of the web's most popular search engines through the late 90s. Acquired by search giant Lycos in 1998, it suffered from lack of development under its new ownership and quickly saw its market share fall. In 2002, HotBot was relaunched with the option for users to search either the FAST, Google, Inktomi or Teoma databases, and would remain a front end for other search engines for nearly a decade. During this time, its site design remained mostly unchanged and was more reminiscent of the 90s then the 2000s.

In 2011, HotBot was relaunched as a web portal, providing information such as news and weather in addition to search results. It was also updated with a new logo, mascot and design as part of the relaunch. This incarnation of HotBot only lasted six months and by 2012, it returned to being a search engine. HotBot still exists today as a front end for Bing.

What is the largest fish in the world?

The biggest fish in the world is the whale shark (Rhincodon typus), which can grow over 40 feet long and 21 tons in weight, and is found in tropical oceans across the world. Despite its large size, whale sharks are considered harmless to humans, as they are filter-feeders whose diets compose mainly of plankton.

The largest freshwater fish in the world is the beluga sturgeon (Huso huso), which can grow to 20 feet long and 3,400 pounds. Primarily found in the Adriatic Sea, the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, beluga sturgeons generally live in brackish environments, but migrate up freshwater rivers to spawn.

Since the beluga sturgeon only travels into freshwater to spawn and does not live in a freshwater environment, the Mekong giant catfish (Pangasianodon gigas) could also be considered the largest freshwater fish, as it spends its life exclusively in freshwater. The Mekong giant catfish can grow to 10 feet long and weight over 600 pounds, and as its name suggests, lives in the Mekong river.

Is Brownsville safe?

The Brownsville neighborhood in Brooklyn is considered one of the most dangerous in the entire city, and is statistically considered the murder capital of New York City. Brownsville has long been a dangerous area, dating back to the 1930s with the formation of the notorious mafia arm Murder, Inc. Even today, with crime decreasing annually in the city, Brownsville's crime stats remain mostly unchanged. Likewise, it has also remain untouched by the gentrification that has improved once crime-ridden neighborhoods such as Bed-Stuy and Bushwick.

It should also be of no surprise that Brownsville is also plagued with poverty, with a median household income of less than $16,000 a year. The New York City Housing Authority runs 18 public housing developments in Brownsville, the most of any neighborhood in the city. Together, they account for over a third of the neighborhood's housing units.
