Are there black people in Utah?

According to the 2015 Census, 1.3% of Utah's population is African-American. The same census put Utah's total population that year at 2,995,919, meaning there are roughly 38,947 black people living in Utah. In the 2010 Census, only New Hampshire, Vermont, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana had a lower percentage of African-Americans, with the latter three all coming in at less than 1%.
